In 2002 the British author Michelene Wandor spent a week in Mainz, Germany, as Woman Writer in Residence. The anthology FROM FORM TO FORM is the result of a creative writing workshop which she gave at Mainz University and which I attended as a student assisstant.

Michelene is one of the few authors who comfortably writes in three literary genres, poetry, prose, and drama. This was reflected in her creative writing course, where she -- and thus, we as well -- constantly moved between forms (hence the title!).
While I myself am most comfortable with prose, I thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with drama and poetry during Michelene's workshop. As a result, my contributions to FROM FORM TO FORM include a number of haiku and an excerpt from a play, A FAIRY TALE BURLESQUE, about a little girl and a wolf. And we all know what happens when a little girl meets a wolf ...
