I hope you've all had happy holidays! As a belated Christmas present for you, I've written a holiday epilogue to THE LILY BRAND, the first part of which you can find here. The other parts will go online in the course of the next few days. I hope you'll enjoy reading "Christmas at Bair Hall" as much as I enjoyed writing it!

As to future book projects: I'm currently taking a bit of a break from novel writing in order to concentrate on my PhD thesis, which I have to finish in 2009. In addition, this past year was somewhat tough me, as you might already know if you've been following my blog (among other things, my beloved cat Jago was ill for a very long and finally had to be put to sleep). As a result, my Muse went on an extended holiday and for a very long time refused to come back. For this reason I unfortunately won't have a new book out in 2009. But I hope I'll soon can share my stories with you again.

I've put some new excerpts online: on the regular pages you can now find the Prologue as well as Chapter 1 of BEWITCHED, and in the Members Section you'll find Chapters 1-4 (the first three chapters are now also available as webpages not just as a pdf file as some of you seem to have had problems with it). By now, things are getting really exciting for me as the first reviews are coming in: Kathe Robin of the ROMANTIC TIMES gave BEWITCHED four stars - yay!
